Client: Alpha Landsteinar Limited, a UK based company with subsidiaries
in Ireland, the Middle East and Singapore. A company with 60 employees, they
were focused on supplying Microsoft Navision based turnkey solutions mainly
to the retail sector. In the year ending 30.6.04 Alpha Landsteinar generated
PBT of £0.59m.
Atlanta assisted the management in preparing the company for sale and the
disposal process began in March 2004. A sale to K3 Technology Group Plc was
completed in October 2004 for a total consideration of £7.2 million.
Client: Vesys Limited is a UK based software company with CAD products for
electrical wiring in the automotive sector.
They signed a sell mandate with Atlanta International on 25th October 2004
and a sale to Mentor Graphics Corporation in the USA was completed on 2nd.
December 2004
Client: Dbi Consulting Limited is a company providing sophisticated, high
level, consultancy services mainly to Government and Local Authorities. In
the year ending 31.12.04 they had a PBIT of £0.7m.
The company had been actively marketed by another M&A company for most
of 2004 but they failed to find a buyer.
Dbi Consulting signed a sell mandate with Atlanta International on 17th January
2005 and a sale to Enterprise Plc was completed on 17th March 2005. The total
consideration was up to £12 million with an initial consideration of £7.5
million.
Client: A company in the Health Sector that is launching a new product suite
contracted Atlanta International to work with the Board of Directors for seven
months in 2005 to assist them with product positioning, hiring key management,
preparing a funding plan and facilitating introductions to key customers and
third party vendors. A member of Atlanta’s staff served on our client’s
Board during this time.
